Abstract: Placenta Accreta (PA) is a severe obstetric condition characterized by abnormal placental invasion into the uterine wall, often leading to significant maternal and fetal morbidity. This retrospective study, conducted at Menzel Temime Regional Hospital from January 2016 to October 2021, aimed to evaluate the epidemiological, clinical, radiological, and therapeutic aspects of PA. Among 30 patients with histologically confirmed PA, the prevalence was 0.21%. Key risk factors included prior cesarean delivery (94%) and placenta previa (94%). Prenatal diagnosis was achieved in 74% of cases, primarily via ultrasound (80% sensitivity) and MRI (85% sensitivity). All patients underwent cesarean hysterectomy, with no maternal deaths reported. Maternal complications included bladder injury (10%), coagulopathy (10%), and hemorrhagic shock (16%). Fetal outcomes showed a 53% prematurity rate and three neonatal deaths. Prenatal diagnosis significantly reduced severe complications, emphasizing the importance of early detection and multidisciplinary management.
